Well it has been a while since I have been on here.  I have a job in Cleveland, we found a house to rent for a year or two, have booked our movers, packing and having a garage sale in a few weeks.
This process has been emotional, others would handle it differently but this is just the way I am wired.  As my mom says, be thankful for life and the many positive things happening, things could be worse, and be thankful for what you have.  Love my mom for always supporting me and reassuring that the choices I have made and are making are correct.  I found a quote on Pinterest today, love pinterest btw, and it says "Never regret anything, because at one time it was exactly what you wanted", for some reason that really struck a cord.  I tend to over think things and get myself all wound up, I need to just let life be and quite worrying about shoulda - woulda- coulda.
Its hard right now wanting to make the transition, we just want to get to Cleveland and get started, not that were in a rush to leave our friends, but we've made a choice and we want to start the process.  I will cherish the time we have left in GA with our friends and make the most of it.

We went to Cleveland this weekend.  I got the job at Gilmour Academy working in the Development office, and we found a house to rent.  The house is cute, and has a yard for Mojo, it's a bit small but it's all we need for now.  The house is in a great neighborhood with lots of shopping and good restaurants.  We had a good time, did a lot of talking and exploring.  It's hard being back in Atlanta when were trying to focus on the future, and I don't mean that in a negative way, it just seems like were living two lives.  But we'll rally and make it for the next few months.  On a lighter note, Gilmour is a beautiful school and I am excited to be a part of the team.  My office is located in a Tudor style mansion that houses offices for Development, HR and Admissions. It's a beautiful building as well as the Athletic complex.  Jeff has an incredible building to run and work in and has a wonderful office as well.  Everyone I met was very warm and friendly, which was and is comforting.

So things are under way, packing, trying to find a mover.  Going up to Cleveland next weekend to find a place to rent, can't wait to see and explore the city.  Had an interesting day today, without venting too much...let's just say I would never make anyone feel bad about a decision they have made, especially if they are excited about it.  I find that a lot of people are either socially awkward or have no filter, I usually don't let stuff like that bother me, but today I did, but only for a minute or two.  Sometimes when you have a lot going on and someone says something stupid, it gets to you.  So I vented out my frustration and I feel better, I think I'm just a bit tired today.  I'm focusing on the "good" of this opportunity and will continue.
On a lighter note, I believe that people come in to your life at certain points and for different lengths of time, but for specific reasons or purposes.  I met a fantastic woman about 4 years ago, and she continues to bring me strength and sanity when I need it most.  She is always there to listen and just always has a sense of calm and good energy around her.  She is a great friend of mine and I'm lucky she is in my life.  They say "friends are angels following you through life"....well she's my angel...Thanks for the support my friend!
